Rajasthan in its present form, the state came into being at different stages. Fish Alwar, Bharatpur, Dholpur and Karauli March 18 1948 to include union had first entered. They are a week Banswara, Bundi, Dungarpur, Jhalawar, Kishangarh, Kushalgarh, Kota, Pratapgarh, Shahpura, later joined by Tonk and Udaipur.
The advent of independence in August 1947, the 563 princely States of India were gradually integrated into different administrative homogeneous units.
