A fire that broke in one of the maternity hospital’s intensive care unit in Romania killed four new born babies. The intensive care unit had sevenbabies, one of them was in a critical conditions. The incident took place at the Giulesti Maternity Hospital, Bucharest.
According to the sources, the fire broke on Monday, as the electrical cable in the air conditioner caught fire. The source said that the wires must not have been isolated properly.
The autopsy results tell that one of the babies died due to inhalation of the smoke and two of them died due to lack of oxygen informed the lawyer Marcus Iacob who is dealing in the case.
Though the infants have been identified but still the hospitals authorities areplanning to have a DNA tests, for the sake of confirmation.
