Kangna Ranaut recently chose to go the same way.

That Himesh Reshammiya changes the release dates of his films, as per strict instructions from his astrologer, is a known fact. Whether it has helped Reshammiya or not is debatable though. But Kangna Ranaut recently chose to go the same way.

Three days ago, Kangna’s astrologer Pallavi called her up and said that if Once Upon A Time in Mumbaai releases on July 29 instead of the scheduled date of July 30, it stands far better prospects at the box-office.

Kangna, who has immense faith in Pallavi, wasted no time in calling Ekta Kapoor, the producer of the film. A source says, “Kangna told Ekta about Pallavi’s prediction.”

Ekta, who happens to be an ardent follower of astrology, got quite worried about the turn of events. The source adds, “She (Ekta) could not neglect Pallavi’s prediction. But yes, she definitely asked Kangna how much she believes in Pallavi and her words. Thereafter, Ekta got cracking. But she couldn’t get a July 29 release date in Mumbai since the bookings were extremely difficult to get. Ekta now plans to release the film outside Mumbai on July 29.”

Ekta has arranged for the film to release in a couple of theatres. When contacted, she said, “Yes. That’s true. I am kick-starting it on July 29. The details are being worked out. Earlier, I hadn’t thought of having a paid preview either, but now, I am definitely arranging one in Mumbai on July 29.”

Kangna has been associated with Pallavi for four years and met her through a fashion designer, who had been a follower of hers for very long. Since then, Pallavi’s predictions on Kangna and her life, have often been correct. In fact, much before the release of Fashion Pallavi had told Kangna that she would win many awards for it.

On the personal front, Pallavi had even told Kangna that none of her personal relationships would work out before 2010. When asked, Kangna said, “I believe in Pallavi completely.” Today, Kangna and Pallavi are very close friends. For good reason, we think.
