Nilesh Rane to produce an Avatar scale film on the legendary king

Nilesh Rane to produce an Avatar scale film on the legendary king

Revenue Minister Narayan Rane’s son Nilesh, has signed Soham Shah (who made two thrillers — the average grosser Kaal and the dud Luck) for a mega budget film on Chhatrapati Shivaji Maharaj.

The film will be in 3-D, with special effects done by a Hollywood crew that has worked on Gladiator. Soham, who is very good with graphics, says that the film will be a visual treat... in the genre of 300, Robin Hood and The Prince of Persia.

The filmmaker is ecstatic because he has finally started work on his dream project. “Nilesh and V L Satyam share my vision to put an epic on screen with the best available international technical support,” he said. The final draft is expected to be ready in two months. And Soham is networking with the Bollywood superstars because he wants two big names to play Shivaji and the Mughal Emperor Aurangzeb.
