Riteish Deshmukh found many takers in Bollywood because of his political clout

It could be coincidence, but then it could also be that there is more to it than meets the eye. Riteish Deshmukh found many takers in Bollywood because of his political clout and after half a dozen comme ci, comme ca films, he has turned out to become a dependable second lead actor.

Same goes for Aarya Babbar, son of the actor-politician Raj Babbar. Ever since Raj won an election from the ruling party, Aarya’s career is on the upswing. No one is insinuating that Aarya is using his connections, but opportunistic filmwallahs take note of these things. Now every other day you read how this actor is either signing something in Bengali, Punjabi or Hindi. Now he has joined the cast of Anees Bazmee’s Ready in Sri Lanka. Apparently the first’s day shoot was at the plush Cinnamon Lake Hotel and the driver dropped Aarya at a wrong place, the driver had already left and he had to avail a local transport to reach the sets because of which the shooting was delayed. Did anyone complain? No, no one had the guts. Clout hai, remember!
